Those successfully in the prime of life who are looking for a new meaningful activity can find the right answer here in Schweinfurt – a professorship at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS).

FHWS will soon be inviting male and female candidates to apply for two more professorships, further establishing the bachelor degree programme in robotics that started in October 2020.

We are looking for people who can show a background in research through their doctorate and have at least five years of relevant work experience. As a University for Applied Sciences (UAS) our focus is on practical relevance and knowledge transfer back to the industry. This is the characteristic which differentiates UASs from regular universities. Our University needs experienced practitioners who feel called to share their knowledge with the next generation.

The qualification programme “Get into the lecture halls” of the regional conference of the commissioners for women’s rights and equal opportunities at Bavarian higher education institutions (LaKoF Bayern) is geared towards women who are interested in a career as a professor.
